Alarm Drill Terms of Use

By installing or using Alarm Drill you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.

1. The app

Alarm Drill is an alarm clock with wake-up missions, a wake-up check, a reliability check and a morning card. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it on devices you own or control, for non-commercial purposes, in line with Google Play's terms.

2. Alarms can be blocked by your phone. Please read this.

Alarm Drill uses Android's alarm functions, a backup ring and a reliability check, and it tells you when a ring was missed and why. It cannot guarantee that every alarm will ring. Battery saving, "app killer" settings, a powered-off or out-of-battery phone, a force-stop, system updates, missing permissions, muted or broken speakers, and other conditions outside our control can stop or silence any alarm app.

• Keep the checks in Alarm Drill's reliability panel green and use the test ring after changing phone settings.
• Do not rely on Alarm Drill as your only alarm for anything where oversleeping could cause harm or loss, such as medication, travel, work shifts, exams or caring for others.
• Missions are designed to make you get up. Choose missions you can safely do when half-awake (for example, do not choose a barcode in a place you cannot reach safely in the dark). After 5 failed attempts or 10 minutes of ringing, the mission is skipped and you stop the alarm by tapping the numbers 1 to 4 in order.

Alarm Drill does not track sleep and makes no health or medical claims.

3. Ads

The free version shows ads (on the morning card only, never while an alarm rings). Ads are provided by Google AdMob; we are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the sites they link to.

4. Purchases and Alarm Drill Plus

• Remove ads: a one-time purchase that turns off ads in Alarm Drill.
• Alarm Drill Plus: unlocks the body and light missions (push-ups, squats, plank, jumping jacks, dance, let the light in), Camera check, your reps history, ad-free mornings, and alarm backup. Plus is offered as:
• a yearly subscription, which may start with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers;
• a monthly subscription;
• a one-time Lifetime purchase, with no renewal.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown in Google Play, every year or every month, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Google Play (Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). If you cancel during a free trial, you are not charged. Alarm Drill reminds you 2 days before a free trial ends. After you cancel, Plus stays active until the end of the period you paid for; then alarms that used a Plus mission ring with Math instead, so they still wake you.

Prices are shown by Google Play in your currency before you pay. Payments, refunds and payment disputes are handled by Google Play under its terms and refund policy. Purchases are tied to your Google account and can be restored with Restore purchases on the Plus page or in Settings on the same account. We may add, change or remove features over time; we will not remove the core benefit of a purchase while we continue to offer the app.

5. Acceptable use

Do not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app except where the law allows, and do not use it to break any law.

6. Third-party services

Alarm Drill uses Google AdMob and its UMP consent message, Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config), Google Play Billing, and MET Norway weather data (CC BY 4.0). The city list is from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0). Their terms apply to their services. See the Privacy Policy for what is shared.

7. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, Alarm Drill is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Weather data is a forecast and may be wrong.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Cosmovex is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss caused by an alarm that did not ring, rang late, or could not be heard, including missed appointments, travel, work or income. Our total liability for any claim relating to Alarm Drill is limited to the amount you paid for the app's purchases in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited by contract.

9. Changes and ending

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and continued use means you accept the update. You can stop using Alarm Drill at any time by uninstalling it.
